  • QuayChains’ innovative smart industrial hubs help manage digital supply and information chains for a variety of industries including public safety departments, airports, and shipping ports. To support their efforts and further the development of their product, Invicton Labs managed the design and deployment of all cloud infrastructure integrations (AWS), established security policies and protocols, configured IoT infrastructure design with automated provisioning and fleet management, and conducted GraphQL API design and development. 

System Design Consulting

  • One of the largest telecommunications and media companies in Africa and South America, Millicom initially reached out for project consultation on their system design. After reviewing a design proposal to determine feasibility of a major system overhaul focused on a microservice architecture, Invicton Labs provided guidance on project strategies and developed a requirements document for revisions to the existing system architecture.

Prototype Engineering

  • Okta is widely known asa n industry-leading expert in identity and access management using cloud software. When Okta needed a prototype application developed quickly, they turned to Invicton Labs. Invicton produced an authentication system that utilized the WebAuthn protocol with support for FIDO2 USD, NFC, and Apple TouchID, along with a fully responsive, modern login interface with a real-time network traffic display.

  • A company with an already established and highly reputable product, proSapient was looking for an experienced software development provider to assist with a new version of their program that they needed to develop quickly and reliably. They entrusted Invicton Labs with managing the project and the technical relationship with one of their largest clients. To ensure a robust and reliable design, Invicton conducted a full review of their existing software architecture and led the software development process.

  • Since shaking things up in the Canadian banking scene with their innovative cash deposit system, Clip Money has seen exponential growth among consumers and retail businesses alike. Invicton Labs’ work began with planning a design and deployment of a fintech application for use throughout Canada, but quickly expanded into developing all cloud infrastructure and backend software integrations. From developing Golang libraries for interfacing with automated transactions systems at national banks to automating a full Kubernetes deployment of 14+ microservices and designing and implementing an entire AWS architecture, Invicton’s services have been instrumental to Clip Money’s success.

Robotics Consulting & Prototyping

2020
  • As experts in both software and hardware prototyping, Invicton Labs’ work with Bear Creek Technologies on a new robotics concept proved to be an excellent fit. Initial discussions began with reviewing conceptual designs for an autonomous robotic system to validate the design and provide feedback, but expanded to include development of cloud infrastructure for remote monitoring and manual control of multiple geographically diverse robotic systems.

CTO Services

2019 to 2020
  • One of Invicton Labs’ more managerial projects, ARU was looking for a provider to manage all technical projects while they searched for a permanent CTO. Invicton stepped in to supervise all technical staff, product development, project management, and technical hiring for projects including frontend development, backend development, and cloud infrastructure. Working directly with ARU’s CEO, Invicton also took the technical lead on contractual negotiations with ARU’s largest service providers including rates, data security, service level agreements, and disaster recovery standards.

  • King Tester Corp., a leading producer of industrial testing devices, needed experts in hardware and software development to assist with the development of their new metal testing device. Invicton provided software development, embedded hardware integration, and project management services, playing an instrumental role in bringing the product to market. Through the development of custom computer vision algorithms, Invicton placed King Tester far ahead of the competition in their field.

Cryptography Implementation

  • Taraxa, a blockchain-based Silicon Valley startup, needed cryptology experts to implement cutting-edge zero-knowledge cryptographic certificate signing. Invicton Labs took point in developing a prototype implementation of the system for operation in a zero-trust environment.

Technical Consulting

  • When a client needs something fixed yesterday, they hire Invicton Labs. Through a short consulting period, Invicton was able to quickly identify and repair a faulty data source that was causing cascading failures. Once the issue was stabilized, Invicton worked with the client’s partners to find a reliable long-term solution, recover any corrupt and missing data, and rebuild the datastore.

One such company, a global mining conglomerate, brought Invicton Labs onto a project to design an architecture for gathering, processing, archiving, and visualizing terabytes of sensor data per day in an on-premises deployment.

  • One of the most prestigious strategy consulting firms in the world, this client hired Invicton Labs to lead the development of an internal search system. Working with extremely sensitive data, Invicton designed a system with robust security and data privacy and led a team of developers to create the application. This project extensively utilized Amazon Web Services and a single-page application framework for a fully serverless, scalable deployment designed for multi-region active/active failover.
